This notice explains how Skywarden Safaris handles personal information when you browse our website, make an enquiry, request a proposal or travel with us.
Who is responsible
Skywarden Safaris is responsible for personal information collected through this website and through our journey-planning conversations. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@skywardensafaris.com or raised by telephone on +254 102 417643.
Information we may collect
This can include your name, contact details, country or region, preferred destination and dates, party composition, budget guidance, accommodation or dietary preferences, accessibility needs and anything else you choose to include in an enquiry. If you confirm a journey, we may also need passport, insurance, payment and emergency-contact details.
Our systems may process limited technical information such as an IP-derived security identifier, browser details, request time and pages requested to keep the website reliable and protect forms from abuse. We do not need sensitive travel or identity documents in the website enquiry form; our team will arrange an appropriate channel if they become necessary.
Why we use it
We use personal information to answer enquiries, prepare and refine proposals, make requested reservations, support travellers, administer payments, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations and keep appropriate business records. Where required, we ask for consent—for example before sending optional marketing—and you may withdraw that consent.
Who receives it
We do not sell personal information. To price, reserve or deliver a journey, relevant information may be shared with selected lodges, camps, airlines, ground handlers, guides, permit authorities, payment providers, insurers or technology providers. We limit what is shared to what that recipient reasonably needs.
A safari may involve suppliers and systems outside Kenya. Where information crosses borders, we take reasonable steps to use reputable recipients and appropriate contractual, consent or legal safeguards.
How long we keep it
We retain information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, traveller support, dispute handling, fraud prevention and applicable tax, accounting or legal requirements. Enquiries that do not become bookings are periodically reviewed and securely removed or anonymised when no longer useful or required.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask to be informed about the use of your information, access it, object to certain processing, correct inaccurate information, request deletion of information that is no longer lawfully required, or request portability where applicable. We may need to verify your identity before acting and may retain information where the law requires it.
Send a request to info@skywardensafaris.com. You may also raise a concern with Kenya’s Office of the Data Protection Commissioner through its official channels.
Security and updates
We use organisational and technical measures intended to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No online system can promise absolute security. We may update this notice when our services, suppliers or legal obligations change; the date above identifies the current version.
Please do not send card details, passport scans or medical records through the general enquiry form or ordinary social-media messages.

With your permission we count public page views, enquiry steps, search-page use and contact-link selections. We do not collect typed form values or raw search queries through analytics. Short-lived hashed network information rate-limits repeated events; these counts do not identify unique travellers. Cookie settings at the bottom of the footer let you change your choice. Browser privacy signals keep optional reporting off.
