Your written proposal contains the cancellation schedule for your actual camps, permits, flights and travel dates. We do not publish one fictional percentage for journeys whose supplier commitments differ.
How to cancel
Send a written request to info@skywardensafaris.com. Cancellation takes effect when we acknowledge receipt. If urgent, also call or WhatsApp +254 102 417643.
How cancellation costs are calculated
We apply the schedule disclosed before booking and provide a clear account of amounts received, supplier charges, work already performed and any balance refundable. Gorilla permits, park permits, private charters, promotional airfares and certain exclusive-use properties may become non-refundable once issued or confirmed.
Reducing the loss
Where suppliers allow it, we will request date changes, credits, substitutions or resale of released space. Approval is not guaranteed. Any recovered supplier amount will be returned or credited after reasonable directly related costs have been accounted for.
Cancellation by Skywarden
If we cancel a confirmed journey for reasons within our control, we will offer a reasonable alternative or refund payments for services not supplied. If an exceptional event prevents performance, we will explain available alternatives, supplier credits and recoverable amounts. Rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
Early departure and unused services
No automatic refund is available for a traveller’s voluntary late arrival, early departure or unused service. We will nevertheless seek recoveries where suppliers permit them.
Refund timing
Approved refunds are processed after relevant suppliers return funds or confirm credits. We will keep you informed rather than promise a date outside our control. Currency conversion and bank charges can cause the amount received to differ from the original payment.
Comprehensive travel insurance should cover cancellation, curtailment, emergency treatment and evacuation from the date your first non-refundable payment is made.
